Well, my dear friend Jennifer took off for Kentucky to work for a great equine supply company in heart of horse country. Yes folks, Jenn is just down the street from the Kentucky Horse Park.

Did you read that? In case you skimmed over it, it says, “JUST – DOWN – THE – STREET from the Kentucky Horse Park.” How cool is that?

When not working 9-5, Jenn volunteers her time at the Maker’s Mark Secretariat Center on weekends. She helps train ex-racing thoroughbreds so they may be adopted out to happy new homes.

Hopefully Jenn will post here every now and again about new horses coming into the program, as well as the joys and challenges of working with the complexities of ex-racers.
